This course will provide perioperative nurses or other health care professionals who are new to orthopedics with useful information about basic spine anatomy; indications for spine surgery; and preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care of a patient undergoing spine surgery. It will also discuss anterior and posterior cervical spine surgery and anterior and posterior lumbar spine surgery.
