The content begins with a discussion of the location and function of cardiac structures; explores arterial distribution and the cardiac cycle; and presents an overview of causes, symptoms, and treatment strategies for coronary artery disease; valvular diseases; congenital anomalies; and nonischemic cardiomyopathies.
