Antibiotic Resistance (PA) - A SafetyQ Course
Antibiotic resistance refers to the ability of bacteria to avoid the effects of an antibiotic. The development of resistance is a natural outcome of antibiotic use. While we cannot prevent antibiotic resistance, we can slow its spread. We can do this by using antibiotics wisely. This course has been designed to review strategies for preserving the effectiveness of antibiotics used in patient care.
